Masks, Monsters, and Menageries classes
Hello to those of you who are reading this for information about my class at CFSOTA.
I suggest you go back to when I began the blog in December and work your way to the present. You will find information about masks and some about me as an artist. In the comments section, you can ask questions.
I hope you will get some ideas about what you would like to make. Don't get too ambitious if you don't have much experience in paper mâché. I will be glad to discuss your ideas with you. We can do that using the comments section of this blog.
I have decided we will work on two masks during the class sessions so that if work on one mask gets too sticky, you can work on the other one. One should be something three dimensional ( 3-D) you want to create from scratch and for the other, you will use a pattern to create a simpler flat mask. I will add examples of simple masks below.
Please visit these two links for ideas and techniques. There many other good sites for paper mache.
